We’ve been looking forward to our feast at Dew Crisp for a while now. Not only were we referred to them by so many other farmers, but the owner, Michael Kaplan as well as all the Dew Crisp staff members we have dealt with are the most amazing people. They are passionate about what they do and pride themselves on the quality of their produce.
In the early eighties, Dew Crisp pioneered the GFT (gravel farming technique) hydroponic farming system. The system continuously recycles nutrient enriched water through growing beds, ideal for the production of leafy herb and salad products. It is also environmentally friendly as there is no nutrient run off and water usage is extremely efficient.
Their farms and farming methods are truly impressive.
